Description
Spend a relaxed morning learning the art of folk art painting. Steeped in tradition, this folk art session will introduce you to the basics of the brush stokes used in traditional folk art around the world.
After a short introduction to the workshop, you have a demonstration on how to use the brushes to make some of the basic foundation strokes used in folk art. After some time practising the strokes, you will be guided through painting a folk art patterns on greetings cards.
With small numbers, and plenty of guidance from the tutor, this workshop aims to provide a relaxed and enjoyable introduction to the art of folk art painting.

How to get there:
From Oxford: Take the A34 towards the M40. At Wendlebury Interchange, take the 2nd exit onto A41. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and stay on A41. Use the 2nd from the left lane to turn left onto Oxford Rd/A41. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Oxford Rd/B4030. Use the 2nd from the left lane to turn slightly left to stay on Oxford Rd/B4030. At the roundabout, continue straight onto Kings End. Continue onto Queens Ave. At the roundabout, continue straight onto Field St/B4100. At the roundabout, continue straight onto Buckingham Rd. Turn right onto Cedar Dr. Turn left onto Balliol Rd. Balliol Rd turns slightly left and becomes Keble Rd.
From Banbury: Take the M40 towards Oxford. Take the exit for the A43. Merged on to the A43, then take the exit for the B4100. Turn left onto the A4095. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Buckingham Rd. At the next roundabout take the 1st Exit onto Churchill Rd. Turn right onto Keble Rd.
