Crafty Boaters Markets
About the markets
Crafty Boaters Markets are small craft markets specifically for sellers of handmade items. The markets were originally born out of a need for somewhere to sell handmade items after many craft markets were cancelled due to the 2nd lockdown of 2020.
The market was originally run over two weekends as small Christmas markets in a local hotel car park under gazebos. The 13 stall holders were mainly friends and neighbours. The success of those first two markets has seen the market grow considerably, outgrowing our first venue.
The market now boasts up to 40 stalls and is running five times per year in March, July, October, and two Christmas markets in November. We reached our fifth year anniversary in November 20204. We have a wide variety of sellers, many of whom return to us each year. All markets sell refreshments with the first drink free for sellers. All proceeds from the sales of refreshments go to charity.
If you are interested in becoming a seller, but would like to know more about the types of stalls we have then take a look at our FAQ’s page. When you are ready to apply then download our brochure and get in touch with us, or email us at [email protected] and we can email you a copy instead.
