FAQ’s for Sellers
Q. How can I apply to be a seller?
A. Please email us as [email protected]
Q. Do you accept more than one seller selling the same thing?
A. We group stalls into types of craft, and we accept up to four sellers of each type.
Q. I buy in mass produced findings and beads to make jewellery, would I be considered for a stall?
A. No, I’m afraid not. Crafty Boaters Markets accept sellers bringing hand crafted goods. We class items made purely with mass produced components hand assembled, rather than handmade.
Q. I make hand crafted items, from a pattern designed by someone else. Would I be considered for a stall?
A. That depends, you must check with the creator whether you are allowed to make and sell from their pattern, and comply with any conditions that they set for selling goods made from their pattern.
Q. I produce my own unique artwork that I then have printed onto mugs/waterbottles/textiles. Would I fit the criteria to apply for a stall?
A. Yes, we would consider you for a stall, as the products you sell have your own unique designs on them, and are not considered as mass produced.
Q. I produce products with Disney, and other branded content printed on it. Would I be considered for a stall?
A. No. We accept sellers producing art and craft either that they have designed themselves, or where they have the right to use the pattern to sell in small quantities Generally, branded designs are copyrighted.
Q. If I am accepted to have a stall at the markets, how do I know that my booking is secure?
A. Payment in full secures your place. If you choose to pay via our non-refunndable deposit system, the deposit secures your place until the due date of the remaining monies. If the remainder is not paid by the due date shown on your deposit receipt, then your place will be opened up to other sellers
Q. what time can I set up my stall on the moring of the market?
A. We allow sellers to set up from 08.30. We ask that sellers do not come into the building any earlier, as it hinders us setting up the tables.
Q. What time can I pack away at the end of the market?
A. We ask that sellers do not pack away before 4pm as we still have buyers cominng in until the end of the market. It is also not fair on other sellers who stay until the end. Repeat offenders of this rule are noted and not invited back to sell with us in the future.
